Elementary Students Suspects In Robbery

From Staff And Wire Reports

Police say two Bemiss Elementary students are suspects in an armed robbery - the knife-point theft of another child’s change.

The sixth-graders allegedly stole a coin from a boy before threatening him and his friend with a knife. They knocked the victims to the ground, police said, then repeatedly kicked one of them in the head and stomach.

The two victims were leaving the Grocery Boys Empire Store at 3430 North Crestline when they were attacked Thursday at 5:40 p.m. The attackers ran off when an adult showed up. The victims said they knew their attackers. , DataTimes
