Shake The Blues At Boogie Bash

Got a bad case of cabin fever?

Shake it and the lingering winter blues at the Cabin Fever Boogie at the Linger Longer Lounge in Spirit Lake, Idaho, on Saturday.

Entertaining are four blues bands: including Chris Hiatt, Cafe Blue, Yo and de Cats and the Heeters.

Hiatt, schooled in the Austin, Texas, is best-known for his Stevie Ray Vaughan tribute act. He devotes entire shows to Vaughan’s greatest hits.

At Saturday’s show, however, Hiatt will perform his own material.

Yo and de Cats are originally from the Lilac City. They moved to Portland three years ago and have recently settled in Seattle. The band has recorded one CD, “Rocket Science,” and they’re working on a second.

Cafe Blue and the Heeters (formerly Chip and the Buschwackers) are veterans of the Spokane blues scene.

The cover is $9 at the door. Music lasts from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m.
