Gretchen Louise Van Hout recently exchanged wedding vows with Erik Eugene Emerik in a ceremony at Assumption Roman Catholic Church.

The bride is the daughter of Henery L. and Sue Van Hout, Beaverton. The bridegroom is the son of Ken and Linda Herb, Aloha, Ore.

A reception was at Mukogawa Fort Wright Commons. The Emeriks are living in Beaverton after a honeymoon in Leavenworth, Wash., and the San Juan Islands.
