Robert Moore Spokane
Service for Robert R. Moore, 83, is set for 10 a.m. today at Riplinger Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
Born in Post Falls, Mr. Moore died Wednesday.
He was an 82-year Spokane resident and founded Moore Perm-A-Mulch. He also invented a fishing trolling meter called the Hummingbird.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Neva (Padgett) Moore; a son, Robert Moore, and a daughter, Lois Simmons, both of Spokane; a brother, Glenn Moore of Spokane; three grandchildren and three great-grandsons.
Stanley Grygny Spokane
Memorial Mass for Stanley J. Grygny, 47, will be held today at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Coeur d’Alene. Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d’Alene is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Grygny, who was born in Wisconsin, died Tuesday.
He moved to Coeur d’Alene in 1953 and graduated from the Immaculate Heart of Mary High School. He played football in high school and made All-State his senior year.
Mr. Grygny went on to attend North Idaho College and graduated from the University of Idaho with a business administration degree in 1974.
He had worked for Potlatch Corp. for 19 years and recently owned Merchant Futures in Spokane. He had recently been working on a master’s degree in business.
Survivors include three sons, Jeffrey and Brian Grygny, both of Spokane, and Clayton Grygny of Seattle; his mother, Isabelle Gierlach of Lewiston; four sisters, Jannette Buffington of Centralia, Wash., Kathy Quick of Vancouver, Wash., Bonnie Williams of Hayden Lake, Idaho, and Marcine Wood of California; and one granddaughter, Kasia of Spokane.

Elizabeth Heimbigner Ritzville, Wash.
Service for Elizabeth Heimbigner, 89, will be at 1 p.m. today at Philadelphia Congregational Church in Ritzville. Vault burial will follow at Ritzville Memorial Cemetery. Danekas Funeral Home in Ritzville is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Heimbigner, a resident of Adams County for more than 84 years, died Wednesday.
She was born in Russia and immigrated with her parents to Nebraska in 1912. They moved to the Ritzville area a year later.
She worked as a clerk at J.C. Penney in Ritzville, and in 1933 she married Elmer Heimbigner. They farmed near Ritzville for 17 years before they moved into Ritzville.
Her husband died last September.
Mrs. Heimbigner was a member of Philadelphia Congregational Church and Grace Chapter of Ritzville.
She is survived by a son, Ronald Heimbigner of Dunwoody, Ga.; three brothers, Fred Benzel of Ritzville, Reinhold Benzel of Renton, Wash., and Alex Benzel of Scottsbluff, Neb.; and four grandchildren.

Arnold Solberg Spokane
Visitation for Arnold G. Solberg, 90, is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-South. Service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
Mr. Solberg, who was born in Sandpoint, died Thursday.
He moved to Spokane from Sandpoint in 1945.
He worked as a machine operator in the lumber industry, and in Spokane he worked for Boise Cascade. He was also a bus driver for Spokane City Lines.
Mr. Solberg was a trapshooting champion and was a member of the Sandpoint Eagles Lodge, and Foresters Union Local 1136 in Kettle Falls, Wash., and was a charter member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Spokane.
His wife, Sylvia Solberg, died in 1991.
Mr. Solberg is survived by a son, Gary Solberg of Mead; two sisters, Adelaide Harris of Benton City, Wash., and Harriet Pietsch of Forest Grove, Ore.; his companion, Hilda Harvey of Spokane; five grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Arthur Franz Lind, Wash.
Memorial service for Arthur Rudolph Franz, 91, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lind United Methodist Church. Private burial will be at the Menno Mennonite Cemetery. Danekas Funeral Home in Ritzville, Wash., is in charge of funeral arrangements.
Mr. Franz, who was born in Tiflis, Wash., died Thursday.
His family moved to the Lind area when he was very young and he graduated from Lind High School.
He attended Washington State College and the University of California at Berkeley.
In 1936, he returned to Lind and began farming.
He married Ruth Krehbiel in 1938 and they lived on a farm at Schrag, Wash., for four years before moving to Lind to take over the family farm.
They moved into Lind in 1940 and built a home. Mr. Franz continued to farm until he retired in 1972.
He and his wive traveled and vacationed abroad following his retirement.
He was a member and former board member of the Lind United Methodist Church and was past secretary of the Menno Mennonite Church. He was a member of the Washington Association of Wheat Growers.
His wife, Ruth Krehbiel Franz, died in 1980.
He is survived by a brother, Robert Franz of Lind.

Ruby Buell Spokane
Private graveside service was held for Ruby M. Buell, 86, at Greenwood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Buell, who died Tuesday, was born in McHenry, N.D., and had lived in Spokane for more than 60 years.
She was a homemaker and a member of Unity Church of Truth.
Her husband, John Buell, died in 1975.
Survivors include three daughters, Dolores Erickson of Mead, Chris Davey of Spokane and Patricia Williamson of Concord, Calif.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Margaret Anselmo Spokane
Service for Margaret M. Anselmo, 45, is set for 11:30 a.m. today at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home. There will be private burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Mrs. Anselmo, a lifetime Spokane resident, died Jan. 3.
She graduated from Marycliff High School and was educated in banking at Spokane Community College. She was a floral designer.
She was a member of St. Patrick Parish.
Mrs. Anselmo’s survivors include a son, Joey Anselmo, and a daughter, Lisa Anselmo, both of Spokane; her mother, Katherine Stowell of Spokane; four brothers, Patrick Stowell of Anchorage, Alaska, Paul Stowell of France, and Mike and Richard Stowell, both of Spokane; and a sister, Delores Jolgen of Spokane.
Harry Roberts Spokane
Memorial service for Harry Ronald Roberts, 88, is planned for 2 p.m. today at Deer Park United Methodist Church. Inurnment will be at the Wayside I.O.O.F. Cemetery on Half Moon Prairie. Lauer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Roberts, a former longtime Deer Park resident, died Wednesday.
He was born on Wildrose Prairie.
He worked for Deer Park Pine Industries for 36 years as a logging truck driver and a planerman and was a member of the Wildrose Prairie Methodist Church, the International Order of Odd Fellows and the I.O.O.F. Rebekah Lodge. He was a volunteer firefighter for 31 years.
Mr. Roberts is survived by his wife of 62 years, Beth (Kenney) Roberts; four daughters, Patricia Braman and Sharon Leonard, both of Spokane, Donna Kinville of Cusick, Wash., and Jessie Kanallakan of Mexico; 17 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Ula Albinola Silverton, Idaho
Service for Ula Emma Albinola, 84, will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Osburn (Idaho) Community Baptist Church. Burial will take place at Nine Mile Cemetery in Wallace. Shoshone Funeral Service in Wallace is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Albinola, who was born in Bovill, Idaho, died Wednesday.
She grew up in Spokane and graduated from North Central High School in 1932 before moving to North Idaho in 1946.
Mrs. Albinola was a homemaker and had worked at Galena Army Air Depot in Spokane during World War II.
She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and Osburn Community Baptist Church.
Her husband of 51 years, Arthur, died last year.
Survivors include a son, Bill Albinola of Silverton; a sister, Zuma Beck of Spokane; and six grandchildren, Patty, Billie Jo, Kristina, Nicole, Becky and Penny.
Memorials may be made to the Silver Wood Good Samaritan Center in Silverton.
Patricia Morgan Spokane
Memorial service for Patricia Joan Morgan will be at 11 a.m. Jan. 18 at the Corbin Senior Activity Center. The Cremation Society of Washington is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Morgan, 62, died Jan. 3.
She was born in Calgary, Alberta, and graduated from North Central High School. She had lived in Spokane for 51 years.
She worked at The Crescent for 10 years as a package wrapper and was was active in Camp Fire Girls. She was a member of the Channel 3 Citizens Band Radio Club.
Her husband, Joseph Morgan, died in 1983.
Mrs. Morgan is survived by four daughters, Rebecca Morgan, Carol Webster and Cindy Wahl, all of Spokane, and Linda Tanner of Elko, Nev.; a brother, William Rodin, and a sister, Helen Kreis, both of Spokane; and three grandchildren.

Vera Woodbury Chewelah, Wash.
Memorial service for Vera C. Woodbury, 79, will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Schanzenbach Funeral Home.
Mrs. Woodbury, a lifetime Chewelah resident, died Thursday.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Congregational Church, the Good Intent Society, Northside Home Economics Club, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and a bowling league.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ai Woodbury.
Mrs. Woodbury is survived by three sons, Jack Wang of Colville, Wash., and Gerald Wang and Antone Trampus, both of Chewelah; two daughters, Verene Smith and Susan Woodbury, both of Chewelah; a brother, Dean Clarke of Chewelah; several grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

George ‘Bud’ Schneider Chewelah, Wash.
Service for George R. “Bud” Schneider, 71, is set for 11 a.m. today at Schanzenbach Funeral Home in Chewelah. Burial will be at Chewelah Memorial Park.
Mr. Schneider, who was born in Greve, Mont., died Wednesday.
He graduated from Jenkins High School in Chewelah and served in the Army during World War II.
In 1946 he married Millie Zibell in Chewelah.
He worked for Stevens County for 13 years and retired in 1974.
Mr. Schneider is survived by his wife; a son, Bob Schneider of Chewelah; two daughters, Mona Sturek of Sacramento, Calif., and Dona Kulbeck of Everett; a sister, Grace Rausch of Blue Creek, Wash.; a brother, Dick Schneider of Chewelah; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Gwen McMillan Spokane
Service for Gwendolyn G. McMillan, 82, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Audubon Park United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Terrace. Riplinger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. McMillan, who was born in Wales, died Tuesday.
She graduated from high school in Montana and then graduated from nursing school in Billings.
She was married to Jerry McMillan from 1940 to 1972.
They lived in Spokane and Colville, Wash., and in Colville, they started Colmac Industries and Colmac Coil Manufacturing.
Mrs. McMillan is survived by a son, Roger McMillan of Colville; a daughter, Carol Kremin of Spokane; a brother, Albert Muskett of Missoula; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
