Versatile Harpist To Perform Scottish Solos In Sandpoint

Internationally renowned composer, harpist and multi-instrumentalist William Jackson will perform in Sandpoint’s Panida Theater tonight at 8.

Jackson will perform original and traditional Scottish solos on the Scottish harp and other Celtic instruments.

Jackson has been performing Scottish music for over 20 years, starting out in the highly acclaimed traditional Scottish band Ossian in 1976.

He has performed with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra. His music is featured regularly on “Thistle and Shamrock,” a National Public Radio program that features Celtic music.

Jackson is currently working on his seventh solo album, “A Scottish Island.”
