Dear Heloise: I just came up with a pretty good idea.

Sheet sets are sometimes sold in clear plastic bags with great zippers. They can be used to store all sorts of things. I am filling one up with goodies to send to a friend who is away in the Peace Corps. I am sure she will be able to put it to good use. L. Michelle Loncon, Columbia, S.C.

Dear Heloise: While visiting relatives in England several years ago, I came upon an idea they had that I have told to friends in my apartment building.

If you don’t have an extra towel bar in your shower or bathtub to hang your rubber shower mat, simply place the mat with suction cups on your wall.
