Jaguars Rookie Jailed

So much for rookie Damon Jones starting over with a clean slate in Jacksonville.

Two weeks before the Jaguars open training camp, Jones found himself in trouble with the law once again when he was arrested at a night club in Jacksonville for allegedly taking a swing at an off-duty police officer.

Jones transferred to Southern Illinois from Michigan after he was arrested twice in two years. He likely would have been a much higher pick if not for that history.

The St. Louis Rams signed free-agent cornerback Ryan McNeil, 26. He spent the past four seasons with the Detroit Lions.
