Mr. And Mrs. Swehla Spokane

Bob and Doris Swehla, Spokane, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a barbecue and a sock hop at the Bigelow Gulch Grange Hall.

Hosting the event were their children and spouses: Lance and Dorothy Cameron, Wellington, New Zealand; Keith Swehla and Linda Brennan, Brian and Kathy Swehla, and Dave and Robin Cole, all of Spokane; and Kevin and Fran Swehla, Portland.

The Swehlas were married May 31, 1947, in Sterling, Ill. They have nine grandchildren.
