Hints From Heloise

King Features Syndicate

Dear Heloise: I thought others would like my idea for hanging clothing at garage sales and church bazaars.

My last sale worked out very well using chains to hang clothing instead of a rope, which ends up sagging. I put some chains hanging straight down from some tree branches and put the hangers through the links. They were perfect for my children’s clothes.

Also, I put one across from tree to tree, using screw hooks in the trees to attach the chain. I was able to hang lots of clothing on the links and the clothing stayed separated. It really worked out great for me. - Rita Morris, Houston

Dear Heloise: When framing pictures that need a mat, I use gift wrap or tissue paper to match the room the picture will hang in. Just cover the backing, place the picture in the center and hang. - D. Rogers, Gilbert, Ariz.
