Cause Of Man’s Death Still Unknown

An autopsy performed Tuesday failed to reveal what killed a Spokane man whose body was found in his North Side apartment, police said.

A relative discovered Daniel J. Bennett, 41, about 9 a.m. Monday in Unit 162 at the Graymayre Crossing apartments, 626 E. Magnesium. He apparently had been dead for several days.

Detectives, who are treating the case as a possible homicide, now are waiting to see if toxicology tests can determine the cause of death.

Police who responded to the apartment Monday found the place a mess, making them suspect foul play could be involved. , DataTimes
