Tel-Link Cleared To Offer Phone Service

From Staff And Wire Reports

Tel-Link of Idaho has been approved to resell local and telecommunication services to customers disconnected by US West or GTE.

The Idaho Public Utilities Commission said Thursday it has approved the Atlanta-based company’s application. The application was approved on condition that it supplied copies of its resale agreements with US West and GTE and share its final escrow arrangements before providing resale service.

The company will offer prepaid service to GTE and US West customers who did not pay bills or whose credit rating was not approved.

The state utilities commission will accept petitions for reconsidering its decision until Aug. 1. , DataTimes
