Still Time To Register For Swim Competition

Registration still is open for the Long Bridge Swim, a nearly two-mile event scheduled for Aug. 2 in Sandpoint.

Participants will swim from the south end of Long Bridge to what’s called Dog Beach on the north end of the bridge. The swim is scheduled for 9 a.m., and already has attracted swimmers from around the region, organizers said.

Registration is $12, if postmarked by today, and $18 after today. Registration forms are available at area athletic clubs.
