Plastic Roofing Looks Like Shakes
A new roofing product claims it has the look of cedar shakes but sports a Class-A fire rating and high wind resistance, and is light enough (less than 1 pound per square foot) to permit easy handling yet strong enough for someone to walk on it.
And it’s made of plastic.
In most parts of the country, this new roofing material is known as Perfect Choice. In most of California, it’s called Genesis.
Available in gray or brown, the new roofing is designed to maintain performance while it ages.
