Man Escapes From Geiger

A 29-year-old man escaped from Geiger Corrections Center sometime around midnight Saturday.

Tye W. Oien didn’t show up for formal prisoner count at 12:45 a.m. on Sunday. Prison officials are unsure how he escaped.

Oien was being held pending a court appearance for charges of third-degree malicious mischief.

Oien is 5 feet 9 inches tall, 160 pounds, with hazel eyes, black hair and a mustache. Anyone with information about his whereabouts can call Crime Check at 456-2233. , DataTimes
