Dear Heloise: A friend and I were running late for a party, as we do often. To her dismay, the zipper of her jeans kept falling down. With no extra time to find something else to wear, she remembered a little trick her mother taught her.

She took a bread twist tie, put it through the zipper tab, then zipped up and hooked around the button at the top. It held all night. - Lorrie Weaver, Geneva, N.Y.

Dear Heloise: I take my developed pictures of family, flowers, or whatever, and I put them on the copy machine. For 5 cents, I make my own personal stationery, which includes things for my friends to see.
