Mead, Cheney Head All-State List

Mead and Cheney had two players apiece nominated for all-state baseball series after feeder games Friday and Saturday at Rogers High.

Rob Elmer and Grant Reeves of Mead, and Bryan Miller and Tucker Urdahl of Cheney were among 10 players chosen after four games.

Also nominated were Jeremy Fox, Garfield-Palouse; Abe Nisbet, Northwest Christian; George Petticrew, Lakeside; Josh Roberts, Colfax; Jeremy Isherwood, West Valley; and Aaron Fryer, University.

A committee will meet Monday to determine which nominees play in all-state games June 14-15 at Eastmont High in East Wenatchee.

Washington all-stars will also meet their Oregon counterparts the following weekend.

Alternates are Raif Jochim, Central Valley; Justin Williams, North Central; and Steve Warren, NWC.
