Cut Wires Discovered In Airliner Cockpit

Cut wiring was found in the cockpit of a Pan Am airliner preparing to take off Wednesday from Kennedy Airport, a transportation official said. Wires also had been cut on the same aircraft three days earlier, the official said.

Flight 21, an A300 Airbus with 102 passengers on board, had been scheduled to depart for Miami at 8:30 a.m. The passengers were booked onto another flight.
