Opting For True Bravery, Bullock Embraces Speed
Despite making big money for the upcoming “Speed 2” (an estimated $12.5 million), Sandra Bullock isn’t at all happy with some of her more recent career moves.
“I look back on certain choices that I made, and I wonder if I did it out of the working actor’s desperation to just take anything that comes along,” she told Rolling Stone magazine.
Those choices, apparently, included “Two if By Sea” and the World War I drama “In Love and War.” After firing her advisers, the 31-year-old actress is looking ahead.
“I’ve been trying to find the word that says what I need to be in life: Brave is that word,” Bullock said. “Because no matter how many times I get knocked or I get blessed, it means I’ll always be able to do it again. If I couldn’t go again, that would kill me.”

It’s late in the third quarter, and Gifford goes down hard…
Kathie Lee and Frank Gifford are attempting to work things out at their $2.2 million estate in Key Largo, Fla. “There was some obvious tension,” said a worker who saw them at a local restaurant. “They would speak more to the kids than each other. They were civil but not too friendly. Frank was unshaven, his eyes were red… he was stressed out.”
