It’s Splitsville
Brad Pitt and Gwyneth Paltrow, one of Movieville’s more closely watched couples, have “mutually agreed” to split, the actor’s publicist said Tuesday. The cause wasn’t clear, but a source close to Paltrow said it all soured so badly, “they’re not even speaking to each other right now.” The couple, who met 2 years ago while making the movie “Seven,” got engaged on Thanksgiving. Their wedding was thought imminent. “It was love at first sight as far as I was concerned,” said Pitt, 33, in fall 1995. Paltrow, 23, was quoted in summer 1995 in People mag: “I am properly in love for the first time.”
