Daniel Raymond Young Adeline (Quintero) Young Spokane
Funeral Mass for Daniel Raymond Young and Adeline (Quintero) Young will be at 7 p.m. Monday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Committal service for Mr. Young will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Holy Cross Cemetery. Funeral Mass for Mrs. Young was held Friday in Seattle. Hennessey Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The Youngs died Friday in an automobile accident.
Mr. Young, 42, was born in Spokane.
He attended Mead High School and worked in maintenance for the Catholic schools.
Mrs. Young, 44, was born in Seattle.
She graduated from the Immaculate High School and Fort Wright College.
She worked for an affiliate of the Spokane Area Chamber of Commerce.
The Youngs are survived by three sons, Paul, Adrian and Simeon; and a grandson.
Mr. Young is survived his parents, Carolyn and Patrick Young; his grandmother, Doris Rumburg; five sisters, Patty, Kathleen Eckley, Sheryl Birkett, Marion Young and Susan Young; two brothers, George and Michael Young; and a foster sister, Sheila Camp of Arkansas.
Mrs. Young is survived by her parents, Angel and Pilar Quintero; two sisters, Angie Flores and Patti Quintero; a foster brother, Peter Castro; and a foster sister, Dolores Deems Brown.
Margaret Dobbins Potlatch, Idaho
Memorial service for Margaret G. Dobbins, 98, will be held at a later date. Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home in Lewiston is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Dobbins, who was born near Potlatch, died Thursday.
She moved to Nez Perce and Stites, Idaho, before moving to a homestead near Joseph, Idaho, in 1912.
Mrs. Dobbins graduated from high school and operated a cattle ranch near Joseph until 1949.
She then moved to the Yakima Valley in Washington and owned a ranch and farm at Lookout, before retiring and moving to Oregon in 1972.
Mrs. Dobbins moved to Zillah, Wash., in 1973 before moving to Potlatch in 1983.
She was a member and past master of the Outlook and Pomona Grange and served as the Washington State chairperson of ladies activities in the 1960s. She also supervised the Washington state installation team for the Grange.
Her husband of 56 years, Robert, died in 1973.
Survivors include two granddaughters, Margaret Reisenhauer of Potlatch and Janice Rogerson of California; four grandsons, Gary Longfellow of Lewiston, Dennis Longfellow of Missouri, Robert Longfellow of Renton, Wash., and Steve Longfellow of Rose Lake; and nine great-grandchildren.

Larry Peters Spokane
Visitation for Larry Peters, 48, will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at the Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home. Memorial services is planned for 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Peters, who was born in Coeur d’Alene, died Wednesday.
He graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School and attended North Idaho College and Eastern Washington University.
He worked for Washington Inventory Service for 30 years, most recently as office manager.
Mr. Peters is survived by his wife of five years, Diana; a son, Brian Peters of Spokane; three stepchildren, Steve Reisdorph of Centralia, Wash., Bryon Reisdorph of Jackson, Miss., and Tracey Haight of Spokane; his father, Henry Peters of Coeur d’Alene; two sisters, Jean Matheson of Astoria, Ore., and Julie Nelson of Cornelius, Ore.; and four stepgrandchildren.

Raymond Mitchell Greenacres
Memorial service for Raymond E. Mitchell, 68, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-South. There will be a private inurnment at Saltese Cemetery.
Mr. Mitchell, who was born in Centralia, Wash., died Wednesday.
He graduated from Priest River (Idaho) High School and Kinman Business College.
Mr. Mitchell served in the Army during the Korean War and later worked as a customer service representative for Washington Water Power. He retired in 1987.
He was a member of the United Church of God, Spokane East Kiwanis Club and the Spokane board of the American Bowling Congress.
He is survived by his wife, Myrtle; three stepchildren, Curtis Ankerberg of Spokane, Keith Ankerberg of Kelso, Wash., and Kimberly Garr of Greenacres; a brother, Kenneth Mitchell of Greenacres; two sisters, Pauline Sandefur of Spokane and Barbara Johnson of Deary, Idaho; and eight grandchildren.

William “Bill” Davenport Post Falls
Memorial service for William “Bill” Davenport, 77, will be held today at 3 p.m. at the English Funeral Chapel in Post Falls.
Mr. Davenport, who was born in Jordan, Mont., died Wednesday.
He moved in 1950 to North Idaho from Montana and had worked as a truck driver in the produce industry.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Mary; three sons, Bill Davenport of Juneau, Alaska, Gary Davenport of Spokane and Randy Davenport of Twin Lakes, Idaho; five daughters, Sharon Condron of Yakima, Judy Byxbee, Carol Anundson and JoAnn Davenport, all of Post Falls, and Terry Driskel of Oregon; four brothers, Calvin Davenport of Seattle, John and Everett Davenport, both of California, and Ralph Davenport of Hoquiam, Wash.; a sister, Cleo Elser of Wyoming; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Hazel Jeffers Davenport, Wash.
Service for Hazel Jeffers, 90, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Almira (Wash.) Community Church. Burial will be at Almira Cemetery. Strate Funeral Home in Wilbur, Wash., is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Jeffers, who was born in Odessa, Wash., died Thursday.
She graduated from Odessa High School in 1924.
She married Charles Jeffers, and they made their home in Almira. In the late 1980s they moved from Almira to Davenport. He died in 1993.
Mrs. Jeffers owned a beauty salon in Odessa and Almira for many years.
She is survived by three sisters, Elsie Luher of Pullman, Evelyn Smith of Spokane and Erma O’Leary of Vancouver, British Columbia.
Darlene Polione Spokane
Service for Darlene J. Polione, 64, is planned for 2 p.m. Sunday at the Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home. Private burial will be at the Fairmount Memorial Park on Monday.
Mrs. Polione, who was a lifetime Spokane resident, died Wednesday.
She worked as a manager for Singer Sewing Co. for 20 years and was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church and St. John Vianney Catholic Church.
Mrs. Polione is survived by her husband of 45 years, Tony; two daughters, Julie Polione and Toni Sneva, and a son, Mark Polione, all of Spokane; two sisters and six grandchildren.

Nora (Weir) Kite Moscow, Idaho
Viewing for Nora U. (Weir) Kite, 100, will be held Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Short’s Funeral Chapel in Moscow. Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Moscow Cemetery. Mrs. Kite, who was born in Missouri, died Thursday.
She moved to the Pacific Northwest in 1913 and attended Washington State College in Pullman.
Mrs. Kite moved to Nebraska in 1919 and returned to Pullman in 1925 before moving to a farm in Moscow in 1927.
She was co-owner of several businesses, including a livery and secondhand store in Moscow and later a rooming house and a tire shop.
Mrs. Kite had also co-owned several restaurants in the Moscow-Troy area.
Her husband of 63 years, Alvin, died in 1981.
Mrs. Kite moved to an apartment in Moscow and celebrated her 100th birthday last November. She recently moved to Moscow Care Center.
She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Latter-day Saints in Pullman and had been active singing for the church.
Survivors include a son, Alvin Dempsey Kite Jr. of Moscow; two grandchildren, Alan and Nancy; and four great-grandchildren, Alan Jr., Angela, Tawny and Brandi.
George Saunders Smelterville, Idaho
Memorial service for George C. Saunders, 54, will be held July 5 at 4 p.m. at the Kellogg Funeral Chapel. Shoshone Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Saunders disappeared last November on the North Fork of the Coeur d’Alene River. His body was found June 7.
He was a lifelong Silver Valley resident and had worked at the Bunker Hill Co. for 25 years as a shift foreman at the smelter.
Mr. Saunders was a member of the Bunker Hill 20-year Club and the Free Trapper Muzzle Loaders Club in Sandpoint.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara; four daughters, Loretta Holt and Cheryl Dunn, both of Spokane, Bambi Bradley of Hayden Lake, Idaho, and Charlene Burland of Polson, Mont.; three sons, David and Keith Saunders, both of Wyoming, and Mike Brown of Page, Idaho; three sisters, Sue Mitchell of Athol, Idaho, Virginia Inman of Sandpoint and Ruth Bell of Kentucky; two brothers, Kenneth Saunders of Kentucky and Burrell Wallen of Montpelier, Idaho; 13 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Harold Hodges Othello, Wash.
Service for Harold A. Hodges, 86, will be at 11 a.m. today at the Nazarene Church of Othello. Burial will follow at Bess Hampton Memorial Gardens in Othello. Stevens Funeral Chapel in Othello is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hodges, who was born in Spokane, died Wednesday.
In 1929 he married Mable Hidy in Coeur d’Alene, and they made their home in Post Falls. In 1950 they moved to the Columbia Basin, where Mr. Hodges was a cattle rancher and part owner of the Big Bend Rodeo.
He was a member of the Adams County Sheriff’s Posse, Rodeo Association and the Moose and Eagles lodges.
Mr. Hodges is survived by his wife; a son, Glen Hodges of Othello; two sisters, Gertrude Loftin of Rockford and Helen Searles of Emmett, Calif.; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Merlin Johnson Spokane
Memorial service for Merlin L. Johnson, 70, will be at 3 p.m. today at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints Stake Center, 1620 E. 29th. Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-South is in charge in arrangements.
Mr. Johnson, who was born in Bancroft, Idaho, died June 6.
He lived in Spokane for 10 years and worked as a supervisor for several senior citizen apartment complexes.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife of 37 years, Pauline; a son, Michael Johnson, and a daughter, Pam Estella, both of Spokane; and five sisters, Rachel McDaniel of Challis, Idaho, Elozia Bradley of Farmington, Utah, Josephine Smith of Smithfield, Utah, Cora Wistisen of Bancroft and Phyllis Gibson of Grace, Utah.
