Orin Richburg, women’s track coach at Washington for 12 years, has been named head men’s and women’s track coach, athletic director Barbara Hedges announced.

Richburg succeeds Mike Johnson, who has been offered reassignment within the athletic department.

Ken Shannon, a Washington track coach for 29 years, is retiring as a full-time coach but will remain on a part-time basis starting next season.
