Mr. And Mrs. Gates Spokane

Daniel “Bud” and Margaret “Peggy” Gates, Spokane, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a surprise party at the home of their niece and her husband, Deniece and Paul Hastings.

Their children and spouses are: Danna Beal, Debbie and Ralph Prouty, Cindy McMahan, Tammy and Kevin Von Steuben, and Dan and Patty Gates, all of Spokane; and Nancy and Larry Martin, Wilbur, Wash.

The Gates were married June 28, 1947, in Spokane. They have 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
