South Hill Garage Consumed By Fire

A two-car garage at 1724 S. Lincoln was destroyed by fire on Saturday.

The garage was engulfed by flames when firefighters arrived at around 8 p.m., said Skip Powell, battalion chief.

Though no one was injured, a 1994 Ford Aerostar was destroyed.

The cause of the fire, which damaged the home’s siding and trim, is undetermined and still under investigation, Powell said.
