Fishing

Anglers and educators willing to share fishing expertise and teaching skills are invited to a training session in Spokane for volunteer angler education instructors.

The Washington Fish and Wildlife Department will conduct the free session beginning at 7 p.m.

Wednesday at the North Spokane Library, 44 E. Hawthorne Rd.

The two-hour session will cover basics of fish, fishing and conservation of fish habitat. All potential angler education volunteers must undergo a background check before being certified as instructors.
