Orla Wakeley Spokane

Service for Orla M. Wakeley, 52, is planned for 1 p.m. Monday at Riplinger Funeral Home. Private entombment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.

Mrs. Wakeley, who was born in Hood River, Ore., died Thursday.

She graduated from Colville (Wash.) High School.

She came to Spokane 34 years ago and was a homemaker.

Mrs. Wakeley is survived by her husband of 33 years, Gary Wakeley; a daughter, Kathy Greer of Spokane; her mother, Betty Estes Bowers of Chewelah, Wash.; a sister, Thelma Fischer of Deer Lake; a brother, Ronald Estes of Phoenix, Ariz.; and a grandson.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Louise Gibson Spokane

No service will be held for Louise Gibson, 91, at her request. The Cremation Society of Washington is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Gibson, who died Wednesday, was born in South Dakota.

She worked as a commercial seamstress in Los Angeles and retired in 1979.

She moved to Spokane in 1983 and was a member of the Rebekah Lodge.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Gibson.

Mrs. Gibson’s survivors include five sisters, Alice Thompson, Esther Jensen and Myrtle Andersen, all of Yankton, S.D., Margaret Friederichs of Zion, Ill. and Mary Andersen of Belmont, Calif.; a brother, Martin Swensen of Pen Valley, Calif.; four grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-greatgrandchild.

Ronald Clark Spokane

Memorial gathering for Ronald P. Clark, 53, will be today from 2 to 4 p.m. at the family home.

Mr. Clark, who died Monday, was born in Liberty, Mo.

He had lived in Spokane for 26 years and worked as a welder for the past 20 years for Burlington Northern Railroad.

He served in the Navy from 1960 to 1964 and again from 1965 to 1967. He also served in the National Guard.

Mr. Clark is survived by his wife of 26 years, Evelyn Clark; two daughters, Jessica Tucker and Tomi Jean Clark, and a son, Tyrel Clark, all of Spokane; his mother, Marie Clark of Lynnwood, Wash.; and a granddaughter.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
