If The Earthquake Hits, It Truly Will Be Tool Time
Turns out Tim Allen isn’t as into home improvement as he would like us to believe. The television and movie star rebuilt his house, which collapsed during the last Los Angeles earthquake, on the same spot.
“The earthquake leveled it, took it all down,” Allen told the Los Angeles Daily News. “But we built it right back up, with safety glass this time and a few more steel girders. Hopefully, it will hold; but who knows, this place. It can go at any time.”
He doesn’t mind playing with fate. “Part of me says, does lightning strike twice? Are you less likely to get hit again exactly where it was, or more likely? My gut feeling says less likely.”
Besides, the location has benefits. “My house is real close to the Disney lot,” he said.
