Richard Krajicek, playing in his hometown of Rotterdam, Netherlands, won two tiebreakers in beating Daniel Vacek to capture the ABN AMRO indoor tournament 7-6 (7-4), 7-6 (7-5).

Krajicek, the second seed, earned $101,500 as well as 200 ATP points that will allow him to overtake Chile’s Marcelo Rios and move into the No. 6 spot in the ATP rankings.

Australian Mark Philippoussis fired 13 aces and beat Richey Reneberg 6-4, 7-6 (7-4) to win the Franklin Templeton Tennis Classic in Scottsdale, Ariz.
