WSU Leads The Whey With Cheese-Making Short Course
Cheese makers from across the country this week will dip into the hot vats of the Washington State University Creamery during the school’s 12th annual cheese-making short course.
Experts from WSU, University of Idaho and some food companies will unveil the latest secrets for churning out salable cheddar, mozzarella, cottage, Brie and other cheeses during the $475-per-person, three-day course that begins today.
The course is given at the WSU Creamery, where Cougar Gold sharp cheddar is produced. For information, call manager Marc Bates at 509-335-7516.
