Lillie Dotson Spokane

Lillie Grace (Sackmann) Dotson, Spokane, recently celebrated her 100th birthday.

Born March 9, 1897, in Sprague, Wash., Dotson has lived at Colonial Court for the past two years and has been a resident of the Inland Northwest for 50 years.

A homemaker, she married Walter H. Dotson in 1916. He died in 1961.

The couple had two children: Warren F. Dotson, Spokane, and the late John F. Dotson. She has two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

When asked what she attributes her longevity to, she said “a lot of faith in God and family.”
