Hints From Heloise

King Features Syndicate

Dear Heloise: I have a timesaving hint for you. Since we are so busy all the time, my husband grills several kinds of meats on the weekend and we freeze them to use during the week. We may eat chicken breasts or use the chicken or pork chops in rice dishes, soups or casseroles.

This speeds up meal preparation during the week and we have tasty, lower-fat meats to boot! - Linda Beebe, Dallas

Dear Heloise: I have read various ways of recycling the plastic sleeves used to protect newspapers.

May I offer a suggestion? I collect them until I have an appreciable amount and return them to our carrier(s). They are most appreciative because they have to buy them. - Mrs. Virginia Morris, Springfield, Ill.
