Women, interested in playing softball?

Spokane County Parks Department is looking to increase the number of women’s teams in its summer program. (It’ll also take coed and men’s teams, too, but the real need is for women’s teams.)

Team fee is $500, and the Parks Department will help you try to find a sponsor if necessary. Also, the department maintains a list of individual players so it can place you on a team, or fill out your team roster. There’ll be at least three divisions of varying abilities.

Deadline is March 24. Games will be Tuesdays from May 6-July 8. A tournament follows.
