The Chiefs wrapped up third place in the West Division of the WHL. They will open the playoffs with games Friday and Saturday night at Kelowna. Spokane, which will have home-ice advantage for the first round, will have home games March 26 and March 28.

Sunday, the Chiefs scores twice in each of the three periods.

After Seattle took a 2-0 lead, Spokane captain Hugh Hamilton scored at 9:58 for the Chiefs. Forty-three seconds later, Mike Haley tied the game by redirecting John Cirjak’s shot from the left circle into the Seattle net.

Marian Cisar’s backhander after 2:07 of the second period, the first of his two goals, put the Chiefs ahead to stay. Trent Whitfield followed with his 34th goal before the period ended.

Cisar, who extended his scoring streak to 13 games tallied his 31st goal on a breakaway late in the third period.
