Dear Heloise: Since my neighborhood grocery is a very large one with many aisles and side shelves, it puts out a printed sheet listing all items alphabetically and telling the aisles in which they are located.

I found it very easy to shop by putting the number of the aisle beside the item on my shopping list. Starting at the lowest number item on my list and going up from there made shopping easier and faster and not so frustrating.

It takes a little longer to get the list together, but it is really worth it. - M.S. Abraham, Louisville, Ky.
