William E. Stratton, acting dean since last July, has been named dean of Idaho State University’s College of Business.

Stratton has been with the university for more than 22 years. Besides the past eight months, he also was acting dean during the 1982-83 search for a new dean.

Prior to July he was associate dean of the College of Business.

Stratton, an Ohio native, has a doctorate in organizational behavior from Case Western Reserve University. He was a Peace Corps volunteer in Colombia from 1966 to 1969 and worked as a systems analyst for the city of Cleveland before going to work at Idaho State in 1974.
