Public Invited To Help Cops Substation Mark Anniversary

The Logan-Hamilton COPS substation will hold a one-year anniversary celebration today.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the substation, 1030 N. Hamilton.

Refreshments will be provided and the public will be able to meet with the volunteers who run the community-oriented policing program for the Logan and Garry Park neighborhoods.

COPS volunteers assist the Spokane Police Department by taking reports, registering bicycles, lifting fingerprints from some crime scenes and cleaning graffiti.
