Warehouse Burns In Hillyard Fire

A two-alarm fire destroyed a wood products warehouse in Hillyard Wednesday night.

Spokane fire officials were called to the industrial area at 3818 E. Rowan at 9:56 p.m. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.

Spokane Fire Chief Bobby Williams said the blaze destroyed the entire building, but firefighters were working to save a second structure on the lot.

Firefighters were called to the same warehouse last summer to put out an arson fire that damaged the building, said investigator Mike Zambryski.
