Tigers Swim To Lead

Auburn freshman Brett Hawke upset NCAA record-holder Neil Walker in the 50-yard freestyle, helping the Tigers take a commanding lead in the NCAA men’s swimming and diving championships.

Auburn also took two relay championships while rolling up 173 points on the opening day of competition. Texas was second with 107 points. followed by Stanford (104) and Southern California (92).
