Cards Drop Doubleheader To Treasure Valley Cc

Luke Hayes had three runs batted in Friday as Treasure Valley Community College beat visiting North Idaho College 8-7 to complete a Region 18 baseball doubleheader sweep.

The Chukars won the opener 9-0 behind Rick Bauer’s five-hit pitching.

NIC’s Paul Wilson had four hits, including a double, in the nightcap. The Cardinals fell behind 7-4 after two innings, then reliever Jeff Anstine kept them close by allowing one run in seven innings.
