Chad Lisher Potlatch, Idaho

Visitation for Chad Gordon Lisher, 17, will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and Sunday at Kramer Funeral Home in Palouse, Wash. Service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Church of the Nazarene in Princeton, Idaho. Burial will follow at the Freeze Cemetery north of Potlatch.

Mr. Lisher, who was born in Pullman, died Tuesday following heart surgery.

A junior at Potlatch High School, he was on the annual staff, and participated in shop and mechanics classes.

Mr. Lisher was a member of the 4-H in Potlatch and his project was raising swine.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Elizabeth and Jay Lusby, of Viola, Idaho; his father and stepmother, Kevin and Mary Kay Lisher of Potlatch; two brothers, Wally Lusby of Viola and Ryan Lisher of Potlatch; a sister, Tosha Lisher of Potlatch; his grandparents, Dale and Judy Lisher of Pierce, Idaho, and Edward and Sharlee Wilson of Potlatch; his great-grandparents Anna Wilson of Potlatch, and Clarence and Frances Lisher of Plummer, Idaho.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Children’s Special Health Program in Boise.

Joseph Conway Spokane

Family service for Joseph L. “Grandpappy” Conway will be Sunday. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Roseburg, Ore. Riplinger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Conway, who was born in Farmington, W.Va., died Tuesday. He was 88.

He was a cowboy and worked in the oil fields of Texas and Oklahoma, before going to work for Great Northern Railway in Warland, Mont.

In 1941 Mr. Conway came to Spokane and worked as a carman for Burlington Northern Railroad.

His wife of 63 years, Marion, died in 1995.

Mr. Conway is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Wilhelm of Tacoma; a son, Mike Conway of Warsaw, Mo.; four sisters, Dorothy Conway of Mount Rainier, Md., Mildred Sears, Madelyn and Betty Conway, all of Washington, D.C.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Henry Brown Spokane

No service will be held for Henry L. Brown, 91, at his request. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Brown, who was born in Lincoln, Neb., died Monday.

A 65-year Spokane resident, he was a butcher for Armours Meat Company.

He served in the Army as a sergeant with the 7th Armor Division.

He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 9, and the United Food and Commerical Workers Union Local No. 1439.

Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Pauline Brown; two sons, Charles Sipp of Post Falls and John Sipp of Lincoln; eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

John Boehm Sandpoint

Visitation for family and friends of John Albert Boehm, 79, will be Sunday from 7-8 p.m. at Coffelt’s Moon Chapel in Sandpoint. Service will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the chapel, followed by interment at the Pinecrest Memorial Park in Sandpoint.

Mr. Boehm, who was born in Princeton, Minn., died Wednesday.

He graduated from high school in Princeton and served with the Navy during World War II.

Mr. Boehm moved to Idaho in 1947, eventually settling in Clark Fork and went to work for Washington Water Power at the Cabinet Gorge Dam in 1954. He retired in 1980 as a power house operator and moved to Sandpoint.

He was a member of the Clark Fork Lutheran Church and the Sandpoint Eagles.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Laurene; two sons, Donald Boehm of Post Falls and Alan Boehm of Missoula; two daughters, Lois Frazier of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, and Shirley Whitaker of Las Vegas; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

James Bebee Sr. St. Maries

Service for James H. Bebee Sr., 48, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the St. Maries Church of the Nazarene. Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery in St. Maries. Yates-Hodge Funeral Home in St. Maries is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Bebee, who was born in Kellogg, died Thursday.

He moved to St. Maries in 1953. In 1960 he went to work for the Potlatch Corp. and later worked for McGovern & Carroll near Pierce, Idaho. He returned to Potlatch Corp. in 1971.

He retired due to illness in 1993.

Mr. Bebee was a member of the Elks Lodge of St. Maries.

Survivors include his wife of eight years, Linda; a son, Jim Bebee Jr. of St. Maries; a stepson, Chris Weare of Reno, Nev.; a daughter, Shelley Todd, his mother, Lavelle Bebee, a brother, Mike Bebee, and a sister, Donna Ternes, all of St. Maries; and one grandson, Ty.

Beulah Taie Coeur d’Alene

Visitation for Beulah Marie Taie, 87, will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Coeur d’Alene Memorial Funeral Home. Service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Taie, who was born in Missouri, died Wednesday.

She grew up in Missouri and moved to Worley, Idaho, in 1916.

In 1925 Mrs. Taie moved to Coeur d’Alene, and owned and operated grocery stores in Hayden, Idaho, for 15 years.

She married Manley Taie in Coeur d’Alene in 1930.

Mrs. Taie was preceded in death by her husband.

Survivors include a son, Richard Taie of Oregon; two sisters, Eulah Dawson and Lucille Bro, both of Coeur d’Alene; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Daisy Jones Sprague, Wash.

Visitation for Daisy J. Jones, 94, will be from 1 to 7 p.m. today and Sunday at the Danekas Funeral Home in Ritzville, Wash. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Macabee Cemetery in Sprague. Her grandson the Rev. Patrick Hogan will be officiating.

Mrs. Jones, who was born in North Dakota, died Wednesday.

She was a former owner of the Mode Cafe in Sprague and was a member of the Senior Citizens 55-plus Club of Sprague.

Her husband, William Jones, died in 1967.

Survivors include three daughters, Betty McCord of Kennewick, Charlotte Paul of Reardan, Wash., and Delores Ackerman of Sprague; and 26 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

Robert Davison Worley, Idaho

Service for Robert Davison, 26, will be 10 a.m. today at the Desmet Mission Church in Desmet, Idaho. Burial will be at at the Worley Cemetery. Schanzenbach Funeral Home in Fairfield is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Davidson, who was born in Spokane, died Wednesday.

He worked for the Coeur d’Alene tribe as a warehouseman.

Mr. Davidson is survived by his four children, Corrina, Dakota, Daylon and Francine Ann Hendrickx, all of Worley; the children’s mother, Trina Hendrickx of Worley; his father, Leonard Davison of Worley; his mother and stepfather, Francine and Gerald Mellon of Elmer City, Wash.; seven brothers, Andrew Davison, Francis Davison, William Andrew Davison, Leonard Davison Jr., Asa Tinney, Gerald Tinney Jr., Ronald Tinney; and two sisters, Leonora Davison, and Becky Davison.

Ruth Fieber Spokane

Service for Ruth Z. Fieber, 79, will be 1 p.m today at the Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home. Private burial will be at the Holy Cross Cemetery.

Mrs. Fieber, who was born in Deary, Idaho, died Wednesday.

She had lived in Spokane for 48 years and was a homemaker.

Mrs. Fieber was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Her husband, Otto Fieber, died in 1978.

Survivors include two sisters, Emma Mael of Spokane and Ellen Luckiesh of Port Orchard, Wash.; and a brother, William Gibson of Spokane.

L.J. ‘Willie’ Wilson Spokane

No service will be held for L.J. “Willie” Wilson at his request. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Wilson, who was born in Appam, N.D., died Thursday. He was 77.

He was a graduate of Wallace High School, and worked as a carpenter and painter in the construction industry.

Mr. Wilson is survived by a daughter, Judy Pryce of Coquille, Ore.; two sisters, LaVaun Christensen of Murray, Utah, and Audrey Hanson of Spokane; and a grandson.

Helen Deluz Spokane

Service for Helen Deluz, 85, will be at 10:30 a.m. today at the Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Holy Cross Cemetery.

Mrs. Deluz, who was born in Portland, Maine, died Wednesday.

A 23-year Spokane resident, she was a homemaker and a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.

Mrs. Deluz is survived by two sons, Edward Deluz of Spokane and Eugene Deluz of Tacoma; a daughter, Esther Brynildson of Suquamish, Wash; two sisters, Genevieve Morrils and Madelyne McCloud, both of Cape Elizabeth, Maine; and four grandchildren.
