Micron Expects Drop In Earnings

Slower personal computer sales, price reductions and the cost of starting international operations will cut thirdquarter earnings, Micron Electronics Inc. says.

The Nampa-based company and its subsidiaries manufacture electronic products and provide services for a wide range of computing and digital applications.

The company will report fiscal third-quarter earnings in midJune, covering the three months ending May 29.
