Marshall Butcher Othello, Wash.
Service for Marshall L. Butcher, 58, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Othello Nazarene Church, Gathering Place. Burial will follow at Bess Hampton Memorial Gardens in Othello. Stevens Funeral Chapel in Othello is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Butcher, who was born in Riverside, Calif., died Thursday.
He moved to Othello in 1954 and graduated from Othello High School in 1957.
Mr. Butcher served in the Army and in 1961 married Elizabeth Heidel in Redwood City, Calif.
He worked as a real estate broker at Sun Basin Properties since 1981.
Mr. Butcher was a member of the First Baptist Church and served as head of the deacon board, a worship leader, a Sunday school teacher, a soloist and choir director. He was also active in the Chamber of Commerce, Othello Choral Orchestra Society, Farm Bureau, FFA Advisor, Moses Lake-Othello Board of Realtors and the Agricultural Commercial Exchange.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Amy Glover of Redmond, Wash.; a son, Kristopher Butcher at home; a brother, Donald Butcher, and a sister, Virginia Farwell, both of Othello.

John Brons Colville, Wash.
Service for John R. Brons, 41, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Grace Evangelical Free Church in Colville. Graveside service will follow at the Mountain View Park in Colville. Danekas Funeral Chapel in Colville is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Brons, a 17-year Colville resident, died Thursday.
He was born in Port Angeles, Wash., and graduated in 1975 from Wahkiakum High School in Cathlamet, Wash.
Mr. Brons served in the Army for four years, mostly in Germany.
In 1979 he married Vicki Setera in Cathlamet, and they moved to Colville in 1980.
He was a building contractor, specializing in custom-built homes.
Mr. Brons was a member of the Colville Eagles Lodge No. 1439.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Roxanne Brons and a son, Derek Brons, both at home; his father, Bob Brons of Cathlamet; his mother, Judy Prestegard of Cathlamet; two sisters, Arlita Schlecht of Longview, Wash., and Tammy Peterson of Cashmere, Wash.; two brothers, Brian Brons of Cashmere and Jamie Brons of Colville; two stepsisters, Robin Mace and Marsha Helms, both of Longview; five stepbrothers, David Dow of Toledo, Wash., Doug Dow of Kansas City, Mo., Darin Dow of Naselle, Wash., and Ryan and Brad Prestegard, both of Longview; and his grandmothers, Nan Shriner of Kettle Falls, Wash., and Lela Crippen of Cheney.
