Dear Heloise: Recently I wanted to spruce up my bath by adding some flowers. They kept leaning in the container and since I had no foam or clay, I started looking for something to hold them in place.

My eye caught a couple of old washcloths in the cabinet. I wrapped these around the stems and inserted them in the container and, lo and behold, I had a nice arrangement. When I get tired of flowers, I can wash the cloths and use them again! I love saving money! - Peggy Moran, Dallas

Dear Heloise: When getting the downstairs of my house ready for painting, I took pictures of the shelves and items that were hanging on the walls.
