Hints From Heloise
Dear Readers: Here are five ways to use an empty coffee can:
Give to a child to use as a piggy bank.
Put in the utility area to hold nuts and bolts.
Use in the laundry room to hold clothespins.
Use to hold bulk birdseed.
Store dog biscuits. - Heloise
Dear Heloise: After years of trying to keep the toothpaste tube rolled and neat, I found a trick that works great for us. Fold the used empty end in approximately half-inch folds. Use the wide rubber band that comes on broccoli to hold the folds. It’s just the right length and width! Redo as the tube empties. Easy and neat. - Grace Rummel, Hagerstown, Md.
