Hints From Heloise

King Features Syndicate

Dear Heloise: I look for your column as soon as I sit down to read the paper. You always have such good ideas. Here is one you might like.

After I get my new calendar, I sit down with the old one and go through it, marking all the birthdays and anniversaries for the year. Then, at the beginning of each month, I get all the cards that I will be needing. It saves time and frustration.

My family has grown so much - children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. So you can see how much this helps me. - Mrs. Ellen Brannaman, Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Dear Heloise: I have received many flat, promotional magnets over the years. Rather than discard them, I cut out photos to the exact size of the rectangular magnets and glue them on. Now the magnets on my refrigerator are “frames.” - J. Grosser, Hartsville, S.C.
