Hints From Heloise

King Features Syndicate

Dear Heloise: I have a helpful mail-sorting hint. My mother has eight kids who still receive some of their mail at her house. She took little mail-size wicker baskets, put our names on each one and hung them behind the front door on the wall.

Keeping mail sorted and out of the way is no problem. It also works when you come over with keys and need a place to put them. Now when we walk in, we check our slot. - M.J. Moore, St. Louis

Dear Heloise: Putting deviled eggs in paper cupcake liners is a handy way to serve them. The miniature ones work great! The eggs stay upright and neat and won’t slide around on people’s plates. - Linda Patrick, Houston xxxx
