NASCAR president Bill France, recovering from a mild heart attack, has been transferred to a Tokyo hospital in preparation for his trip home.

France, 64, underwent an angioplasty last Friday and was reported in good condition.

The crew chief for NASCAR driver Ricky Craven and another employee are facing sexual assault charges.

Kevin Caldwell, 34, of Mooresville, N.C., and Josh Gibson, 22, of Huntersville, N.C., are accused of assaulting a 34-year-old woman in a Guelph, Ontario, motel Saturday morning. They were arrested Sunday at Pearson International Airport in Toronto, and charged with sexual assault causing bodily harm.
