‘Spokane Trek’ Includes Seminar, Auction
“Spokane Trek” will run from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday at Cavanaugh’s Inn at the Park.
A costuming seminar will be offered prior to the show, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. The seminar will cover how to create Borg, Klingon or Federation costumes with accurate detail.
A dealers’ room offering a hodgepodge of Star Trek items will be open all day. There will also be a costume parade and a charity auction featuring items such as original scripts of several Star Trek shows.
Some auction proceeds will benefit the Northwest Kidney Foundation, a division of the National Kidney foundation, a charity Aron Eisenberg has made donations to for several years. Eisenberg was born with a defective kidney and had a kidney transplant 11 years ago.
