Hints From Heloise

King Features Syndicate

Dear Heloise: If you’re in a hurry putting a car seat back in the car and don’t have time to install the seat belt through it, lay it down on its side so you won’t think it’s strapped down the next time you use it.

I’ve driven around town before, only to realize that the seat had been loose all day. - John Larkin, Moscow, Idaho

This would definitely be a good habit to get into, since we all get harried and in a hurry. Also, the next person might not realize the seat isn’t strapped in. If it’s sideways, that’s a sure sign. - Heloise xxxx
