Kmc Picks Coleen Watkins As Employee Of Month
Coleen Watkins, an occupational therapist and eight-year Kootenai Medical Center veteran, has been chosen as the KMC September Employee of the Month.
Watkins was honored for providing high quality patient care, and for her commitment and hard work to the Rehab and Transitional Care Patient Care Council.
The North Idaho College Foundation’s Board of Directors recently elected officers for the current fiscal year. Officers and their elected positions follow.
Brad Dugdale, was elected to a two-year term as vice-president/branch manager and foundation president. He holds a bachelor of science degree in finance from the University of Montana and is immediate past president of the Hayden Lake Country Club, founding director of Concerned Businesses of North Idaho and past chairman of the Coeur d’Alene All-American City Committee. He serves as a director of Mountain West Savings Bank and was former director of the Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce.
Jim Coleman, was elected vice-president/ president elect. He holds a bachelor of science and master of science degrees in civil engineering from the University of Idaho . He is president and CEO of J-U-B Engineers Inc. He is a member of the executive committee of Boy Scouts of America, chairman of the University of Idaho Engineering Advisory Board and the Board of Directors of Excel and the Coeur d’Alene Rotary Club. He served as past chairman of the Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce.
Rick Maxey, was re-elected to a two-year term as treasurer and holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting from San Diego State University and is a certified public accountant. He is president and chairman of the board of Magnuson, McHugh & Co., treasurer of the Coeur d’Alene Library Association, treasurer of TESH Inc., and past president of the Idaho Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a member of the Citizens Council for the Arts and former director and treasurer of the Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce.
The Panhandle Chapter of the American Red Cross recently presented awards at its annual Awards and Recognition meeting for outstanding volunteers.
