Winterization Closes Lake Boating Season

Boating season unofficially closes next week when the Kootenai County Waterways Department starts winterizing pumpout stations.

Crews will start winterizing the public marine pumpout stations on Lake Coeur d’Alene and Lake Pend Oreille beginning Oct. 13. The pumpout stations will remain out of service until about next April.

Public pumpout stations are at Third Street docks, Northwest Resort, Carlin Bay Marina, Rockford Bay Marina, Gateway Marina, Conkling Park Marina, Scenic Bay Marina, MacDonalds Hudson Bay Resort and Eagle Marina in Farragut State Park. , DataTimes
